MLL International Film Series - Arabic Film "Where Do We Go Now?" (2011, Nadine Labaki)

Monday, October 24, 2016 - 6:00pm
Neville Hall, Room 003

The DEPARTMENT OF MODERN LANGUAGES AND LITERATURES presents:

WHERE DO WE GO NOW?
Set in a remote village where the church and the mosque stand side by side, Where Do We Go Now? follows the antics of the town's women to keep their blowhard men from starting a religious war.  Women heartsick over sons, husbands, and fathers lost to previous flare-ups unite to distract their men with clever ruses, from faking a miracle to hiring a troop of Ukrainian strippers.  The movie won the People's Choice Award at the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival.

This event is free and open only to Lehigh students/faculty/staff.

Light refreshments will be served after the film.
